This one-of-a-kind Copper Replacement Eye Agate Ring features a remarkable hand-cut and polished agate collected from Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula. The stone displays soft smoky pink, lavender, gray, and earthy tones flowing through natural banding, with native copper inclusions scattered across the surface. Near the center sits the feature that gives this stone its name—a distinctive natural “eye,” surrounded by delicate concentric agate banding.
The agate was carefully shaped and polished by hand to preserve its natural character and highlight the copper, patterns, and unusual formations locked inside the stone. It is set entirely by hand in solid sterling silver, with a substantial handcrafted setting designed specifically around this individual cabochon. No two stones—and certainly no two Copper Replacement Eye Agates—will ever have exactly the same combination of copper inclusions, colors, banding, and eye formations.
From stone to finished piece, this ring is completely handmade and represents a small piece of the Keweenaw Peninsula’s extraordinary geological history transformed into wearable art.
