Collected and hand-fabricated from Lake Superior region chlorastrolite (Michigan greenstone) with natural mesolite inclusion structures.
This piece is presented as a mineral specimen study exploring the intersection of geological formation and biologically suggestive growth patterns. The mesolite formations exhibit branching, flower-like radiance emerging from dense chlorastrolite matrix, creating an optical illusion of organic bloom within lithic structure.
Mounted and finished to emphasize the material’s natural architecture rather than decorative intent.
Each specimen in this series documents a unique occurrence of mineral formation that visually echoes living systems while remaining entirely geological in origin.
